The product makes sense but it does not work if you have high volume boots to fit your fat feet. It renders the easy entry useless and reduces the volume back to a regular fit and then some.

Just what I needed to customize my boot cuffs

I got these tongue shims for my race boots (Atomic Redsters) because the fit of my cuffs wasn't as tight as I wanted it to be (even with the booster strap). I followed the instructions and preheated them with a blow dryer before sticking them on. I also added a 4 beads of superglue for good measure. The fit is now perfect (i.e. tighter without changing the forward lean of the boots) and the shims haven't budged after 16 + hours of shredding. I am very pleased with this product.

Not as good as advertised

If the Velcro strap on your boots is in good shape these aren’t needed They don’t do anything that a good Velcro strap doesn’t do. The so called ratchet strap is not a real ratchet buckle. It actually is even more difficult to tighten than the Velcro one on the boots. Save your money unless your straps are worn out and need replacing

Sleeves and beds

My boots are only a season or two old but allowed my heels to move far more than I’d like. Rather than opting for another boot, I thought I’d give the liner sleeves and foot beds a go.

Fitting the liners to the sleeves was easy, getting the liner back into the boot required a whole new level of determination due to the design of the shell and no fault of the liner sleeve.
The foot beds fit perfectly and were super simple to install.
With footbeds and liner sleeves in, it was time to get the boots on and see how they feel. The boots were only marginally harder to get into, but immediately felt more snug around the ankle and comfortable under foot.
First ride in them there was a noticeable difference in edge feel and control which builds confidence to push the envelope harder.
Would I recommend Patriot footbeds and liner sleeves? 100% yes, and so much better value than new boots.

Yeah, 5*s4uguys4Sure!

Skiing in the Tecnica Mach1 130 pre Gripwalk boot. Out of the box they had a loose heel that I remedied with a couple of shaved down pieces of closed cell foam strategically placed and gorilla taped to hold my heel in position. It worked better than out of the box but when I saw these heal liners I had to try them. I'm glad I did! I've skied 3 days in them now and I felt so locked in yesterday and comfortable and really saw an improvement in my carving ability. My boots just felt so much better than previous seasons.
Just ordered up the Freerides, if the liners gave that much satisfaction I can't wait for a new and upgraded footbed.
THANKS Patriot!

Liner sleeves did actually what they said they would do. My feet are now snug with no extra movement and again have the feel of the snow. Thank you !

It Works!

I have only skied one day so far with the liner sleeves, but I can totally attest that it did eliminate the heel slipping that I was feeling prior with my boot liner.

Yep, they work.

I’ve only spent 2 days on them and immediately noticed a difference. I have low arches, nearly flat footed, and had some ankle and arch pain. Swapping out footbeds has almost completely remedied the pain. I took the time to heat mold them and I’m thinking they’ll just get better as the season continues.

Made my feet ache

Unfortunately the Liner Sleeves made my feet ache, as others have experienced. I went through the process of taking off my boots after a few runs and then trying them again, but my feet were still painful. I guess they are not for me.

Great quality footbeds and the heal lock sleeve works great. Only one day on snow with the kit but loving it so far.

Unbelievable!! So happy I found these

I have very low volume feet, and even the lowest volume boots on the market leave my feet flopping around like fish. I have given up on buying new boots since it's a high cost for about 3 decent days til the liners pack out.

I purchased these for my 5 year old boots (approx 100-150 days usage), along with the Volume Reducer and Tongue Shim. Absolutely incredible! I put all 3 items in my boots, including the J bars in the Liner Sleeve. My heels are 100% locked in, the soles of my feet even make contact with the boots while my skis are dangling on the chairlift. I have excellent control at high speeds now and no pain.

I used to get goose egg bruises on my shins for the duration of the season, and the Tongue Shims solved that problem. I don't even have a faint bruise after 2 full days on the slopes.

My only disappointment is that I didn't know about all this sooner. Cannot recommend enough. About 10% the cost of new boots for boots better than new boots!!!

Not for me

The sleeves did not work for me. I have to wear an old rear entry because of a bad leg accident so when I tried to use them I found that it blocked my foot and I couldn’t get them on. So when my grandson comes this winter I will see if he can use them.

Many years ago (like 45) I ran a ski shop during the foam, wax, pack, flo era of ski boots. I fit many boots during that time from Stroltz leather lace boots to Salomon SX 92’s. I purchaed new boots online figuring that I had enough past experience to take care of any problems with the fit. When I received them they fit me pretty much like the box they came in. Using the all mountain footbeds, the liner sleeve, the tounge shims, and crank straps from Patriot, they are now as comfortable as any boots I have owned over the years. At 73, I am not running gates but my boots perform well up to my ability and I am comfortable all day.

The foot beds were just the right size and fits perfectly in my boots. They feel very good and I am sure they will work very well once we get snow and I can use them.

Liner sleeve

The elastic is too far toward the tongue of the liner. It does not all the tongue to pull forward enough to easily get the ski boot on. If the Elias moved clout the toe it would eliminate the problem. I had to cut the elastic for it to function properly.

Sorry Gregg, This is completely incorrect.
There is no need to cut any elastic. The problem you are encountering is with the method you are using to try and open your boots.
If you see the instructions in the video above and in the emails we send, you will see that you do not pull forward on the tongue of your liner to open your boots. You need to leverage the tongue to the side to open the overlap of your boot correctly. The elastic on the sleeve facilitates this perfectly. By cutting them you have compromised the function which is not great to see.
We will shortly have a tool on offer that will help open up the boot easily, especially when utilising a sleeve.

Disappointed

Lots of social media glitz for a cheesy product
