Footbeds arrived on my last day of the season. In a few weeks I'll head from NJ to my daughter's place in TN and we'll both heat and mold our boot liners and add these new footbeds with heel lifts. We'll most likely get to try them on snow in July indoors at Big Snow in NJ.
I have a pair of 4 buckle Garmont Tele boots that have lived a long life. I replaced the liners, but they still gave me blisters on every tour. I added the Patriot Liner Sleeves and immediately felt better heel hold down. I went on a full day spring tour and got no Blisters! That was worth the price. I am looking forward to trying them at the resorts as well next winter.
I bought the volume reducers for a set of boots that were not for skiing. They worked well and tightened the slightly oversized motorcycle boots.
Easily sized and mounted.
After much anticipation, my Patriot Footbeds arrived. It was Christmas all over again! My Nordica Pro Machine boots are 2 years old. I had been using 12-year-old custom footbeds. During all this time, my feet were not really happy, but I adjusted to the discomfort. When I saw and researched your new Patriot Footbeds, I knew I must try these out. I had nothing to lose! So, out come my ski boots, tossed aside my 12-year-old hard footbeds and inserted my new Patriot Footbeds. Instantly my feet knew what true comfort could feel like. But the real test was on our next ski outing. I wear very thin socks, so when I buckled my boots there was always pressure points. I often had to stop to tighten up the buckles & increase my pain factor. My Patriot Footbeds solved that issue. They allowed my feet to fit perfectly, with no pressure points. During a day of hard charging, I never had to tighten or adjust anything on my boots. Wow, comfort all day long! My Patriot Footbeds have proven to be an excellent investment while improving my skiing experience! My feet are happy again! If your feet are uncomfortable in your ski boots, maybe it's time for an upgrade. Get a pair of Patriot Footbeds! You'll be glad you did!
I have Intuition liners and as the ski season progresses, they seem to pack down and get bigger,
I had been wearing two socks to make up the additional space.
The Patriot Liner Sleeves worked perfectly.
I will probably have to remove them for the fist few week of skiing next year as the Intuitions seem to expand during the summer.
Very happy with the purchase.
The liner sleeves have dramatically improved my happiness when touring in my Scarpa Maestrale RS boots. Any sense of vagueness in the heels when in ski mode has been eliminated, and chafing on the skintrack seems to have vanished, too. The boots are a bit harder to get in and out of over my high instep, and the liners were a little fiddly to reinsert into the complex shell of the Maestrales with the sleeves on, but all totally manageable, and absolutely worth it. Amazing customer service, too.
A great quality product, I recovered some boots that I thought were unsuitable, even though they were new. I am very happy, I no longer feel cold or pain. Congratulations
i use the liner sleeve from patriot footbeds with my skitouring boots. comfortable uphill and downhill. improved fit.
I purchased the 27.5 powerflex liner to replace the ones in my 2015 Panterra Diabello boots. I ski about 50 days a year so the old liners were packed out bad. My choices, either new liners or new boots.
The Patriot liners fit the boot shells nicely. I didn't use the lace system as it would be impossible for me to get in my ski boots even with the laces fully loose. I also removed the little strap lace eyelets as they were getting caught in the shell after tightening everything up. So far I'm impressed with the fit even without heat molding. It's spring and my season is finished so I will do the heat molding step in the fall before the next season. The boots feel a bit stiffer and I can't wait to give them a test.
The only minor snag... I didn't realize that the liners were delivered with a standard cheaper footbed already installed. I installed the Patriot footbed mistakenly over the top of the cheepo one. Much to my surprise I couldn't get my foot to even think about going into the boot (even barefooted). I was briefly disappointed and wondering now what have I done. I removed the Patriot footbed and retried the boots on and finally realized my mistake and removed the cheepo footbed. All good now with a real Patriot footbed installed!
My boots are 5 years old now and the liners have compressed so my heel was hard to lock down. I slipped on the liner sleeves and my boots fit better than ever!
Thank you Patriot
John
I was hoping to use these sleeves inplace of injecting "the stuff" into the boot liner I have … I liked the feeling of the sleeve around my ankle, however I could not handle the strap between my foot and the footbed. Just too much pressure to wear out skiing. Only got from car to lift and then had to take them off. I tried this twice and had the same result. So, I guess the injection method is next.
Hello Mauritz,
You do not wear the sleeve on your feet. It needs to go on the outside of your liner!
Please review the product images and the instructions for how to install and use them.
I have the Tru-Strap with a Zipfit Workhorse liner. I love how the inner Velcro strap snugs the tongue against my shin. Better than a Booster. Firmer hold.
Made my boots too tight and tough to not have them scrunch up when inserting and overpriced for what is probably $3 of material.
I was sceptical to say the least when I bought these and even more so when they turned up as seemingly they just looked like a ankle support bandage. I genuinely thought they were going to do nothing but I was absolutely amazed when I tried them with the immediate difference in heel movement. I bought the wedges to go with them as I thought I'd need them but they're still sat unopened.
Genuinely impressed with these liners
Game changer kit did change the game. Don't even think about my feet anymore. Bought the dual booster strap too. It all works great
